Οι στίχοι του τραγουδιού:
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can break a heart in two with a single kiss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can make a man a fool with one night of bliss
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss,
You can break a heart in two with a single kiss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss,
You can make a man a fool with one night of bliss
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Louie was a gambler on a paddle-steamers
Stony-faced ‘n’ heartless, he took folks to the cleaners
He held all the aces, his heart was just a joker
Till a sultry maiden showed him how to poker
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can break a heart in two with a single kiss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can make a man a fool with one night of bliss
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Hey hey ho, hey hey ho
Louie was a sucker for her Southern Comfort
He forgot his cheatin’ to, who, his scarlet harlot
She’s queen of the river, poetry in motion
When her body’s swayin’ men soon get the notion
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can break a heart in two with a single kiss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can make a man a fool with one night of bliss
You can’t miss a certain Miss on a paddle-boat to paradise
Lady Luck, I’ll tell ya this, she throws only loaded dice
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can break a heart in two with a single kiss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can make a man a fool with one night of bliss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can break a heart in two with a single kiss
Mississipi Miss, oh Mississipi Miss
You can make a man a fool with one night of bliss
