Τα τέρατα όπως ονομάστηκαν από τα ελληνικά μέσα ενημέρωσης με το ροκ τραγούδι τους κατάφεραν να κερδίσουν τον διαγωνισμό και να χαρίσουν στην Φινλανδία την πρώτη θέση. Οι χώρες που ψήφισαν τους Lordi ήταν: Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, Ρωσία, Πολωνία, Σουηδία, Ελλάδα, Νορβηγία, Δανία, Εσθονία, Ισλανδία με 12 βαθμούς, δέκα βαθμοί έδωσαν η Λιθουανία, Ιρλανδία, Κροατία, Ισπανία, Γερμανία, Ανδόρα.
Οκτώ βαθμοί έδωσαν η Σλοβενία και Ρωσία, Λετονία, Γαλλία, Ελβετία, Βέλγιο, επτά βαθμοί από Ουκρανία, Τουρκία, Ολλανδία, Μάλτα, Ισραήλ, Σερβία & Μαυροβούνιο, Βοσνία & Ερζεγοβίνη, Λευκορωσία. Έξι βαθμοί από Πορτογαλία, Π.Γ.Δ.Μ., Μολδαβία, πέντε από Κύπρο και Βουλγαρία και τέλος τέσσερις βαθμοί από Ρουμανία.
