Timeless: Ιρλανδία 1980

Στον εικοστό τέταρτο διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision που φιλοξενήθηκε στη Χάγη, την Ιρλανδία εκπροσώπησε ο κύριος Γιουροβίζιον, ο Johnny Logan όπου ερμήνευσε το τραγούδι "What's Another Year" (Ακόμη Μια Χρονιά), σε μουσική και στίχους του Shay Healy και με διευθυντή ορχήστρας τον Noel Kelehan. Διαγωνίσθηκε από την δέκατη έβδομη θέση και τερμάτισε στην πρώτη θέση με 143 βαθμούς.

Η συμμετοχή της Ιρλανδία κατέκτησε την πρώτη θέση με 143 βαθμούς που έλαβε από Νορβηγία (12), Ελλάδα (12), Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (12), Δανία (12), Γερμανία (12), Ελβετία (12), Βέλγιο (12), Αυστρία (10), Γαλλία (8), Φινλανδία (8), Σουηδία (7), Λουξεμβούργο (7), Ισπανία (7), Ολλανδία (6), Πορτογαλία (5) και Ιταλία (1) βαθμό.
