Timeless: Ιρλανδία 2004

Στο τεσσαρακοστό ένατο διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision που είχε φιλοξενηθεί στη Κωνσταντινούπολη, την Ιρλανδία είχε εκπροσωπήσει ο Chris Doran με το τραγούδι του "If My World Stopped Turning" (Αν Ο Κόσμος Μου Σταματούσε Να Γυρνάει) σε μουσική του Bryan McFadden και στίχους του Jonathan Shorten. Διαγωνίσθηκε από τη δέκατη όγδοη θέση το βράδυ του μεγάλου τελικού και τερμάτισε στην εικοστή δεύτερη θέση με επτά βαθμούς.

Ο Chris Doran κέρδισε το εισιτήριο για το διαγωνισμό κατακτώντας τη πρώτη θέση στον εθνικό τελικό της χώρας, You're A Star 2004, διαγωνίσθηκε στο μεγάλο τελικό από τη δέκατη όγδοη θέση και τερμάτισε στην εικοστή δεύτερη θέση με επτά βαθμούς που έλαβε από το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (7).
