Timeless: Αυστραλία 2016

Η δεύτερη συμμετοχή της Αυστραλίας στον διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision μετά από την πρόσκληση που έλαβε το 2015, είναι γεγονός, για ακόμη μια φορά επιλέγει τον ερμηνευτή που θα ταξιδέψει στη Στοκχόλμη με εσωτερικές διαδικασίες, η Dami Im όπου ερμηνεύει το τραγούδι "Sounds Of Silence", σε στίχους και μουσική των Anthony Egizii και David Musumeci.

To 2015 η Αυστραλία πήρε απευθείας μέρος στον τελικό, το 2016 έπρεπε να περάσει από τη διαδικασία των ημιτελικών. Πήρε μέρος στον δεύτερο ημιτελικό, όπου μαζί με άλλες 17 χώρες διεκδίκησαν το εισιτήριο για τον τελικό, η Αυστραλία πήρε το εισιτήριο και μάλιστα την πρώτη θέση με 330 βαθμούς. Το βράδυ του ημιτελικού η Αυστραλία διαγωνίσθηκε από την δέκατη θέση, ψηφίστηκε από όλες τις χώρες που συμμετείχαν και είχαν δικαίωμα ψήφου. Συνολικά πήρε 188 βαθμούς από τις κριτικές επιτροπές των χωρών και 142 βαθμούς από το τηλεοπτικό κοινό. 

Το βράδυ του μεγάλου τελικού η Αυστραλία βρέθηκε στην δεύτερη θέση με 511 βαθμούς τους οποίους και πήρε 320 βαθμούς από τις κριτικές επιτροπές όλων των χωρών που συμμετείχαν και 191 από το τηλεοπτικό κοινό.
