Timeless: Ιρλανδία 1989

Στον τριακοστό τέταρτο διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision που φιλοξενήθηκε στη Λοζάνη, την Ιρλανδία εκπροσώπησαν ο Kiev Connolly και το συγκρότημα The Missing Passengers με το τραγούδι τους "The Real Me" (Ο Πραγματικός Εαυτός Μου), σε μουσική και στίχους του ίδιου του ερμηνευτή και με διευθυντή ορχήστρας τον Noel Kelehan. Διαγωνίσθηκε από την τρίτη θέση και τερμάτισε στην δέκατη όγδοη θέση με 21 βαθμούς.

Η συμμετοχή της Ιρλανδίας τερμάτισε στην δέκατη όγδοη θέση με 21 βαθμούς που έλαβε από Τουρκία (7), Γερμανία (4), Νορβηγία (3), Βέλγιο (3), Γιουγκοσλαβία (2) και Λουξεμβούργο (2) βαθμοί.
