Στον τριακοστό πέμπτο διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision που φιλοξενήθηκε στο Ζάγκρεμπ, το Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο εκπροσώπησε η Emma με το τραγούδι της "Give A Little Love Back To The World" (Δώσε Λίγη Αγάπη Πίσω Στον Κόσμο), σε μουσική και στίχους του Paul Curtis και με διευθυντή ορχήστρας τον Alyn Ainsworth. Διαγωνίσθηκε από την έβδομη θέση και τερμάτισε στην έκτη θέση με 87 βαθμούς.

Η συμμετοχή του Ηνωμένο Βασιλείου τερμάτισε στην έκτη θέση με 87 βαθμούς που έλαβε από Βέλγιο (12), Γιουγκοσλαβία (10), Ισραήλ (10), Γαλλία (10), Ελβετία (10), Ισπανία (7), Ιταλία (6), Ιρλανδία (6), Ελλάδα (5), Λουξεμβούργο (3), Δανία (3), Κύπρος (3), Γερμανία (1) και Αυστρία (1) βαθμό.
