Timeless: Ιρλανδία 1997

Στον τεσσαρακοστό δεύτερο διαγωνισμό τραγουδιού της Eurovision που φιλοξενήθηκε στο Δουβλίνο, τη διοργανώτρια χώρα εκπροσώπησε ο Marc Roberts με το τραγούδι του "Mysterious Woman" (Μυστηριώδεις Γυναίκα), σε μουσική και στίχους του John Farry. Διαγωνίσθηκε από τη πέμπτη θέση και τερμάτισε στη δεύτερη θέση με 157 βαθμούς.

Η συμμετοχή της Ιρλανδίας τερμάτισε στη δεύτερη θέση με 157 βαθμούς που έλαβε από Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο (12), Σουηδία (10), Πορτογαλία (10), Ιταλία (10), Γαλλία (10), Δανία (10), Αυστρία (10), Ουγγαρία (8), Εσθονία (8), Γερμανία (8), Κύπρος (8), Βοσνία & Ερζεγοβίνη (8), Πολωνία (7), Ελβετία (7), Τουρκία (6), Κροατία (6), Ισπανία (6), Ρωσία (5), Ολλανδία (4), Νορβηγία (3) και Σλοβενία (1) βαθμό.
